TSW Warriors | Friends Turned Founders | Healing With Heart
Sometimes, the people who understand you the most are the ones who’ve walked the same path.
We found ourselves in the midst of a deeply painful and misunderstood journey called Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW). Though we came from different parts of the world, our stories collided in Thailand, at a clinic led by Jay, an expert with almost 20 years of experience treating TSW.
There, between ice packs, sleepless nights, and small glimmers of hope, we met not just as patients, but as people in search of meaning through our suffering. What started as mutual support soon became real friendship. And from that friendship, something greater emerged: a shared mission. We asked each other:
“What if we could create more places like this; somewhere safe, supportive, and human - for others going through what we went through?”
That question became the beginning of Wave Skin Wellness.
With Mercedy’s heartfelt dedication, Sol’s unshakable resilience and the unwavering support of our caregivers Saša and Aisha, we trained with Jay and other experts and built our clinic. Not just to treat TSW, but to truly care, to listen, to guide, and to remind each patient they are not alone.
Together, we’ve turned our personal pain into collective purpose. Wave Skin Wellness is our way of paying it forward - of showing the world that healing is possible, and that even in your darkest moments, connection can lead the way.
